TMZ obtained photos of presidential candidate Mitt Romney trying to win over grammatically challenged South Carolinians
Can we take these sheep and quiz them on current events? ...and spelling?
Mitt Romney, whom we can assume has a reasonably high level of intellect (with his success in business) will stoop to any level to win votes.
Per Huffington Post:
"Senator Obama is wrong if he thinks science-based sex education has any place in kindergarten," Romney told some 150 people at a restaurant in the northern part of the state. "We should be working to clean up the filthy waters our kids are swimming in."
Obama, campaigning in New Hampshire, told The Associated Press in an interview Thursday that Romney was only trying to "score cheap political points." He said he was noting in his comments that he supported laws in Massachusetts and New Hampshire in which local communities and parents can decide how to provide children with information about sexual predators.
... The Romney campaign also included South Carolina in the rotation for a new television ad focusing on preventing children from seeing inappropriate material on television and elsewhere.
So Romney lies about Obama's intent on informing small children to stay close to mom in the store and don't let someone touch you, and in the same breath he insults science, which is the breeding ground for evangelical ignorance and intolerance. Then his wife (decribed by his campaign as his 'trophy wife' as you may describe ownership of a new car), she goes on one of these crusades to shut down free speech in America, we must live in their police state and forget that parents are accountable for what their children are exposed to and their tv DOES have an on and off switch.
We sadly live in an era, here in 2007, where people are encouraged to vote with limited ability to dissect what they are hearing, and immoral behavior by politicians (as long as they are Republicans), is tolerated.
Then on the flip side we have the media at large ranting on Hillary's cleavage, Bill's blow job, Edwards' hair, Obama's heritage, and Kucinich's gorgeous, tall, red headed wife.
