X-Surgeon General Releases scathing details of Republican spin

The Independent a British news source has released a scathing article of information from the Surgeon General who served under Bush from 2002 until last year. I've never seen this story even mentioned anywhere before so for now I'm assuming this is 'breaking news'.

Let's start with what the bottom of the article says, "A White House spokesman denied the claims".
