Will Smith thinks Hitler was a swell guy

Update from Will Smith upset over the publicity: here

This generation seems to have no respect or education on the history of what went on during WWII.

Will Smith should lose his mega audience if this disrespectful and careless comment, and attitude over his Hitler comments are true. History is likely to repeat itself if those around us don't learn the message of our pasts. Will's comments were inexcusable, brushing off the atrocities caused by an evil Hitler.

Smith said even Hitler "didn't wake up going, 'let me do the most evil thing I can do today.'

"I think he woke up in the morning and using a twisted, backwards logic, he set out to do what he thought was 'good.'"

That is seriously a very distorted way to look at what went on 70-some years ago. This comment of his cannot and should not be forgotten. Generation x grow up, with their parents help, trying to achieve fame and wealth. They have no sense of respect for knowledge, their heritage in culture or country, and we have a president who helps promote this attitude with his comments telling them, "to go shopping".

"Even Hitler didn't wake up going, 'let me do the most evil thing I can do today'," said Will. "I think he woke up in the morning and using a twisted, backwards logic, he set out to do what he thought was 'good'. Stuff like that just needs reprogramming.
