Breaking: 2 CBS Journalist Missing in Iraq

AP - 17 minutes ago:
BAGHDAD (AP) — Two CBS News journalists are missing in the Shiite city of Basra.
CBS said all efforts were under way to find the journalists, who were not identified.
"CBS News has been in touch with the families and asks that their privacy be respected,".
Basra, Iraq's second-largest city, has seen fierce fighting between rival Shiite militias as part of a power struggle in the oil-rich south.
The British military turned over responsibility for the province to Iraqis in December, but maintains forces near Basra, about 340 miles southeast of Baghdad.

Latest: Police and witnesses said they were seized from a hotel in the city of Basra by at least eight gunmen. The journalists were taken from the Sultan Palace Hotel, police and witnesses said.
A member of staff was quoted as saying the gunmen had arrived at the hotel earlier in the day and inquired about who was staying there. They are said to have returned later in a four-wheel drive vehicle. Other reports say the group were masked and carrying machine-guns.
