IRS ignored warnings of identity theft

Between 2003 and 2006 the IRS has lost 500 laptops filled with your personal data. Back in 2003 they were warned of security lapses in their procedures, lack of secure passwords and encryptions. They ignored those warnings in 2003 and made no changes in their procedures. After this huge breach of security and the loss of so many laptops, in 2006 they finally took steps to clean up their act.

Sounds just like our government overall these last 7 yrs. Oh happy tax day!
