Politics of the day

Are the Democratic nominees planning on ganging up on Hillary at the Debate on Thursday? Sounds like a win/win for her imo. If she's ganged up on, they'll be seen as bullies. If she does well against this, she'll come out way on top. Works for me!

Hee hee! Harry says he's not going to get into a 'name calling match' with someone who has a 9% approval rating! lol.. Guess who that might be?

Now Giuliani is referring to Democrats as cowards waving the "white flag". Man these pugs will stoop to any talking point to gain votes. I guess he gets his directly from the Faux Snooze network who gets them directly from the corrupt, incompetent White House administration.

John McCain held a news conference today formally announcing his candidacy for president after he officially announced it on The David Letterman Show almost 2 months ago. He also appeared on The Daily Show last night with Jon Stewart and made an ass of himself imo. But then again I always think he makes a pathetic ass out of himself.

Moments ago A House panel voted to grant former Justice Department aide Monica Goodling (33), limited immunity from prosecution to compel her testimony about the firing of eight U.S. attorneys. The House Judiciary Committee vote was 32-6, with 10 Republicans supporting a grant of immunity. Representative John Conyers, the Michigan Democrat who chairs the panel, needed a two-thirds majority to win approval of the immunity grant. The committee also decided, by voice vote, to issue a subpoena for Goodling.

Congressional investigators want to question Goodling, a former aide to Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, about her discussions with presidential aides about which prosecutors would be fired. who is Monica Goodling?

If you check the headlines posted at the right, I added several days ago the Renzi and Doolittle problems with FBI raids and their stepping down from their republican held committee jobs. Well now we find out that Gonzo put a block on investigation into Renzi's case before midterm elections last year. Investigators pursuing the Renzi case had been seeking clearance from senior Justice Department officials on search warrants, subpoenas and other legal tools for a year before the election, people close to the case said. The Justice Department denied any foot-dragging in the Renzi case.

Damn these guys are amazing.. er corrupt I mean..
