Faux Snooze take over of Dow Jones-WSJ

As if Rupert Murdoch didn't already have a monopoly on media here in the US and Britain, he's now making a bid for the Dow Jones, the publisher of the Wall Street Journal, which is already known for being a conservative paper. The $5 billion dollar bid is being fought by the present owners.

CNBC EXCLUSIVE: CNBC's David Faber reports that Newscorp, the media company controlled by Rupert Murdoch has made an unsolicited $60 a share all cash offer for Dow Jones, the publisher of The Wall Street Journal. The offer has not been rejected. More and MSNBC

Also as expected, Bush vetoed the spending bill spinning his usual cowardly bullshit blaming the Democrats for, well, pretty much anything he can think of.. even going so far as saying this is "a prescription for chaos".. eh? !!! What the hell would you call this Iraq mess now on this 4th anniversary of "Mission Accomplished"? He's such an idiot.

I've been keeping up with the news but am buried in a new laptop with Vista on it.. omg I hate it... but I'm spending a lot of time just trying to set it up to my (semi) liking and trying to work the kinks out. So my posting will be limited for awhile. Tomorrow we have the repug's debate.. it will be interesting to see how much time they spend going after each other, or after the present policies, or just sticking together and all blame Dems for everything... as usual...
